A menu with no iron courses

If you want a driver stall, this is the wrong door. Suite 4 is mallet work: sighting, depth, hang, face, grip, length, and lie. Pick a plate from the list or ask the desk to stack two.

Wing check

Forty-odd minutes under the boom lamp. We photograph address, then kill the fluorescents and see which rails still aim. Good when you already like the head and hate the left miss at dusk.

Hang map

Peg first, hands second. Face-balanced claims get tested. We roll ten from a square start and ten from your natural arc so the toe has to confess. Pairs well with a wing check if the miss is rotation, not aim.

Full mallet sit

Depth, hang, wings, length, lie, and a first-roll note. This is the long plate. We will not rush CG because a pretty wing fooled the first photograph. You leave with a spec card and a sentence you can take to Overton.

Insert + pistol

Face chatter, groove noise, and whether a pistol is hiding a length mistake. We will not restock an insert to chase a sound you heard on television. Feel has to survive twelve feet on this carpet.

Length and lie only

For a mallet that already hangs honestly. Wrist-to-mat, eye over the ball, sole flush. We recut or bend and then re-check hang because length moves the toe story.

Full-bag iron fittings — there is no stall, no plate for turf
A “quick look” at a blade you already love; we will send you to a blade person
Same-day Saturday walk-ins after one o’clock — the door shuts at two
Junior clinics, birthday groups, or a league night with six mallets at once

Stacking

Two plates, one afternoon

Wing check plus hang map is the usual stack. Full sit already includes both. Gift slips are hang maps unless the card says otherwise — see gift the bay.
